Nothing is too difficult for Thee
Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
LORD please touch this little one and heal her body. I know that nothing is too difficult for you. Give us direction, guide us plainly on this leg of the journey. We praise You for the outcome You have already prepared. Amen.

Girly Girl Outing
I am taking Kayla on her school field trip to see Charlotte’s Web at the Alliance Theater today in Atlanta. I am pretty excited about it.
She and I don’t get to spend a lot of alone time together without Daddy and Bekah. She is growing up way too fast and I just don’t like it. She has opinions now about hair, clothes, and BOYS. Eeeeek!
I love her to death and can’t wait to help her along on her journey in this life.

A sweet solution
Bekah has started this nasty habit. She tucks her arms behind the tray or arms of whatever chair she is sitting in. One day she came home from school with red sores rubbed on her arms where she had rubbed her arms against the fabric of her wheelchair all day. A solution had to be found!
Someone told me that they used fabric covered pool noodles on their babies crib to keep their child from chewing on the crib bars. This sparked an idea!
Sure enough, the pool noodles fit perfectly once cut to the right length and opened up to slip over the back of the wheelchair.
A friend of mine, Maria Davis (You can read more from her over at Middle Places.) gave me this beautiful flannel to cover the noodles. Isn’t it just sweet?!
I love the solution we found! This makes me want to make lots of different covers for all different seasons and holidays!

A Gift of Friendship
I hope you have a friend in your life that you consider to be a gift.
Someone who shares your journey.
Someone who knows your story
and still loves you.
Someone who sends you messages like this…
- Just had to share my stressful day with someone who gets it…
- So good to hear from you, thinking of you always!
- Prayers for strength in your week alone. Hugs all around.
Someone who, while walking along with you, points to God and says “focus There”.
One reason that I can’t ever be unthankful for this journey we are walking is that God has brought some amazing friends into my life through it. People I would never have crossed paths with, yet can’t imagine my life without them now.
Thank you, Lord, for the Gift of Friendship.
“I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.”
― Helen Keller
God is so good to us
Thank you so much for praying for our Rebekah! She is a different girl today. We’ve missed our smiley, giggly, playful Bekah – but is seems she is coming back! The doctor called with a positive test result yesterday for C. Diff. and we got her on the right meds. Things (which you don’t want me to talk about here) are resolving with her and she is getting a hefty appetite back. God is so good to us. Thank you friends and family!
