We had a whirlwind day today! Rebekah was a trooper. We spent a lot of time in the car because of the rain in Atlanta!
We first saw her new Ophthalmologist today. He thinks that her crossed eye can be fixed by her wearing patches. She will wear a patch over her strong (right) eye for at least 5 hours a day while the left eye strengthens. We go back in a month to check her progress. He is hopeful that she will not need surgery to correct her eye! Whoo-hoo!
Then we headed back to Children’s hospital to finish off her blood draws for the genetic tests. We should hear results from these in about two weeks.
Thanks for your prayers. All of your sweet words of encouragement have meant so much to us and have really shown us the love of God through our friends! Thank you!
