My favorite time of year is coming. I love the cooler weather, the crisp air, and the short evenings. I love fires in the fireplace, rainy days, and wearing jackets. I like the smell of burning leaves, the deep grey skies, and the excitement of upcoming holidays.
Kayla and I went out for some fun this afternoon and I found this little leaf in the parking lot. I had to stop in the rain to snap this picture because the promise of things to come brought a smile to my face.
